This heavy-duty unit is a one-way electrically controlled turnstile for access or admissions control applications; the opposite direction can be open or locked. The TUT-60ES is perfect for use in high-impact environments.

These turnstiles are available with a 1- or 2-way directional setting. Choose your desired option:

1-Way Operation
The turnstile will turn in one direction, and can be freely rotating or locked.

2-Way Operation
The turnstile is capable of turning in both directions, for entry and exit.

General Features

• The materials meet ASTM standards for the materials industry.
• Fail-lock or fail-safe operation is available, providing either an always locked or always free-rotating exit.
• The automatic relock feature allows access to only one user at a time.
• Overall dimensions are 38 inches high, 7 inches wide, and 27 inches long.

Cabinet

• Stainless steel cabinet is constructed from 14 and 16 ga. type 304 stainless steel polished to a #4B finish.
• To prevent user injuries, the cabinet has been equipped with rounded edges and a sloped cover with no exposed fasteners.
• Hinged cover has security cam lock to prevent tampering.

Operating Mechanism

• Consists of precision machined, interchangeable precision fabricated parts made from high quality steel. No cast iron parts.
• After the arm assembly is turned, the self-centering mechanism cushioned by an aircraft quality hydraulic shock absorber returns the assembly to its original position.
• All locking components hardened to ensure a long usable life and reliable service.
• Modular mechanism mounts to a 3/8 inch thick steel plate.
• Contains all electrical components, including a low voltage 24 VDC power supply, 110 or 220 VAC step down transformers, a reset system, and an access control interface.
• All fabricated components are yellow cadmium plated to ensure a long usable life.

Hub

• Made from machined aluminum, 5 inches in diameter, with openings for 3 arms 120 degrees apart.
• Clear anodized to protect against oxidation and discoloring.

Arms

• Fabricated from 1 1/4-inch-diameter, 16 ga. stainless steel tubing, type 304.
• Ends are spun closed, ground and polished smooth.
• No plastic caps.

Ratchet

• Made from machined high-quality steel.

Bearing

• Self-centering, sealed, maintenance-free main bearing supports shaft and ratchet assembly.
