This affordable, compact electric turnstile from Boon Edam controls pedestrian traffic in one direction. Applications include stadiums, arenas, perimeter and interior security, recreation areas, amusement parks, retail venues, transit fare sites, and lobbies. The TUT-50E is perfect for secure environments such as reception areas.

General Features

• Fail-lock or fail-safe operation, providing either an always locked or always free-rotating exit.
• Automatic relock feature allowing access to only one user at a time.
• Materials include 3/16? heavy-gauge carbon steel for the housing unit, 16-gauge polished stainless steel used in the housing cover and arms, and a pedestal of 7-gauge carbon steel with a standard black powder coating. 
• Standard finish is a rust- and wear-resistant black powder coating.
• All fasteners and moving parts covered by a smooth, stainless-steel safety panel with black powder coating.
• Easy installation of the free-standing turnstile on a dead-level finished floor with power supply, wall, or portable base.
• Reader interface with any access control device.
• Normally open contact closure required to activate the turnstile; circuit load presented is maximum 24 VDC at 1 amp.
• Overall dimensions are 37 3/8 inches high, 23 inches wide, and 18 inches long.

Operating Mechanism

• Self-centering mechanism cushioned by a hydraulic shock absorber returns the assembly to its original position after the arm assembly is turned, regardless of the amount of force.

Transformer

• For low-voltage 24 VDC operation with voltage step down from 110 VAC to 220 VAC.
